Maybe the old workarounds WOULD work if steam didn't overwrite the files? I don't know. The whole thing just seems like sloppy work to me, it's really, REALLY not that difficult to make these resolutions work, its just takes a tiny bit of forethought.Д®dit - Maybe it's an issue with Steam? It seems to be behaving badly atm, replacing saves/syncing incorrectly, etc. None of the old fixes for FO3 are working anymore (ie, ini modifications). But then I was also being forced into windowed 2650 x 1600 rather than what I wanted, fullscreen 3240 x 1900. I figured out I could get into game by using the left arrow and hitting enter. I'm trying to play portrait mode Eyefinity and having all kinds of weird problems - for a while I thought the main menu buttons weren't working, but now I just think the confirmation after you select New or Quit is simply not displaying. I think we have to wait for a fix, unless someone can figure out a workaround of some kind. All it took was one beta tester to have caught this bug. All this game really is is an expansion to fallout 3.but in fallout there was a way I could see terminals!!! I cant believe that this game could have overlooked something so massive. Its hard to believe that something like displaying terminals is impossible to fix. However, the falloutPrefs.ini keeps changing itself back to the default fov of 75, even when set to read-only.

I had to make the file not read only, then after editing, make the file read only again or the game would just change the settings on start up. ini to save the changes but at 5970x1080 I still cant see terminal. Yeah I tried this, but its still not working. This worked liked a charm for me at 3840x1024Д®dit - If you are just installing the game, I recall that fallout.ini did not appear until I ran the game once. Now if I could just get the game working.ДЇor those of you having problems with the computer terminals being off the screen, open up my documents/my games/fallout 3 and edit fallout.iniД®dit fDefaultFOV=75.0000 to 150.0000 this changes the menus FOV not the game! so the pipboy, hacking terminals and lock picking screens appear how they should look. I was also a bit confused why I needed to set a custom resolution via the preferences file for my portrait mode Eyefinity, but whatever. I've got my own issues (menu buttons aren't responding.), but I'm hoping Fudge's solution () might fix the computer terminal problem.
